NeuroLinguistics and Cognition Lab!
Our team is based at the Department of Language Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Our research focuses on understanding:
the brain mechanisms behind language comprehension and production;
how these mechanisms are modulated by aging; &
how language performance is associated with cognitive functions such as working memory, episodic memory, and inhibitory control.
We use a range of experimental techniques, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and behavioral experiments.
